Stimulating organisational structures

  An optimal organisational structure, which helps employees perform their duties more easily and gives them the feeling of being supported and stimulated to work together to an even higher degree: that is the description of stimulating organisational structures.

Today, all too often we observe that in time the existing organisational structures are no longer geared to business processes and that employees are actually frustrated by them. Inappropriate organisational structures also generate extra work that adds no value to the final result.

Why are these dated structures not adapted sooner? Inertia is often the main cause. Changes in the environment come slowly in small steps, so sweeping changes do not appear necessary. It is only when some time has lapsed and the situation is examined again that it becomes clear that the structure is not fit for purpose and even management needs to be changed.

Stimulating structures are created and develop along with changes to the organisation’s goals and activities or its environment.
