We were commissioned by Kristof Schotsman (head of HR) and Patrik Bouillon (internal affairs director) to conduct an analysis ahead of the implementation of a digital employee file. The plan was to hold a number of interviews with employees and then a vision workshop with employees to establish the goals together.
After a few interviews it became clear that the implementation of a digital employee file was not right for Knokke-Heist HR department at that time. Agreement was reached with the client to adapt the workshops. We asked the HR employees to work on a large number of administration applications and study how they work together. The results of the workshop exceeded the expectations of both participants and clients.
During the workshop the decision was taken to merge a number of redundant activities, a programme was launched to draw up a consistent application portfolio and procedures agreed for sharing information in different ways. |
